Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program USAF

Hello, I am in the Air Force. I recently applied to the 2010 Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Progam (NECP). I am waiting for the board results. Anyone else out there as anxious as me?

OMG I got my call about an hour ago!!!! I am so excited. Congrats to all of you that were accepted as well. I am hoping that our forum has created a great network and we all stay in touch. I did join the FB group... that was a great idea. AGAIN CONGRATS to all. WE DID IT!!!!!:yeah::nurse:

tlloyd001, didn't Amillia reply to you too that you got accepted? It is probably just that your Commander didn't check their e-mail or something. My leadership knew yesterday but didn't tell me until about 1550 today (so that was about 0950 east coast time). If you know that you are on the list, don't worry, I am sure you are GTG and someone just dropped the ball on telling you. Keep your chin up! :)

Big congrats everone. Welcome to nursing. I hope you love it as much as me. Lots and lots. Nursing is awesome. There's no career as diverse with endless opportunity. School is tough and the job is way better. Remember to look at your patient and love them like Mom. Keep up the enthusiasm. Again best of luck!!!

I have a favor to ask. Since the notification deadline has passed, can someone who is not on leave and has access to the Nurse Knowledge Exchange website post a copy of the list on the forum? They usually put the list in a word document format so it should be a simple copy and paste. That would be great so that those they are still waiting and their commanders are not available can at least have that little bit of relief by seeing the list. I would do it myself but I am on leave and since we can only access that website with a CAC it's kind of difficult for me to do it. THANKS TO WHOEVER IS ABLE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

SOMEONE POINTED OUT THAT IT MAY NOT BE A GOOD IDEA TO POST THE LIST ON HERE WITH PA/PII BEING A GREAT CONCERN FOR THE AF. PLEASE DISREGARD THAT REQUEST!!!! I will attempt to access the list via another avenue. 2012RN2b, I appreciate your willingness to do this for me. Thanks again.

Airmen picked for nurse commissioning program

The Air Force has selected 45 airmen to attend the Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program, officials announced Monday.

The May 2010 NECP board met at the Air Force Personnel Center at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, to consider 53 applicants. Eight candidates were not selected and there were no alternates.

Those who successfully complete their course requirements for the NECP program and pass the National Council Licensure Examination will be commissioned as second lieutenants.

These selected airmen will attend training in August. They are:
