Updated:   Published

I just submitted my application to the Nurse Corps Scholarship, I just found out about this a few months ago anyone have any advice or tips? I am most worried by my SAI number. It is within the range but its on the upper end more than lower.

Apply to the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program

You are eligible if you:

  • Are a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a national, or a lawful permanent resident
  • Are an accepted or enrolled student in a nursing degree program at a United States accredited school of nursing

  • Don't have any federal judgment liens
  • Don't have an existing service commitment
  • Aren't overdue on a federal debt

Note: Preference to those who need the most help financially.

Why should you apply?

If you receive an award, you'll get a monthly stipend—and they'll pay your

  • tuition;
  • eligible fees;

Well congratulation to everyone!! I hope nursing school goes well for everyone regardless!

Ugh just got off the phone with a rep she says the program has told her that it's up until the 30th that a COI can be received and that they would give you enough time to get whatever documents completed. I don't know so much confusion, but she says she's never heard of the Thursday thing

Just sprinkiling a little hope for some of us. This is the 2024 app guidelines. I can't imagine them being done. I haven't seen one ADN/ASN recipient yet!

Thank you, this was needed!

Has anyone who got a COI on 9/13 been awarded yet? I'm wondering if the ones who got the COI in early Sept. are the ones getting awarded sooner?

I got my COI on 9/4, was awarded on 9/18.

I had a credit pull on Aug 19th and have been under review for some time. I pray that God grants me this scholarship, I really need it.  We have just 5 more days until the 30th.

Good luck to everyone who has applied!

I just went through some comments from earlier, it seems like if we don't get an email tomorrow with a COI we likely were not accepted this year based off someones phone call. fingers crossed, WE get that email tomorrow! Keeping you in my prayers tonight!

That has been proven incorrect. You have four days, keep your fingers crossed though! Good luck to you!
