Nurse Corps Scholarship 2018-2019

Hi Everyone, I'm planning to apply for the HRSA NurseCorp Scholarship this year. I figured I would go ahead and start the next thread for this award year. I'm currently finishing up some of my prereqs and will be starting my BSN program in June. I know the application date hasn't been released yet but from what I have seen on other threads, it should be opened sometime in March/April with a deadline in May. I've also read that the prompt questions have been the same from one award year to the next so I have begun working on them as well as trying to figure out who I would like to use as recommendations. I would love to hear from all who plan to apply this year.

Wow- congratulations. I am very happy for you. Congrats. Are you in RN, BSN or ARNP program? So do you think they will offer for more applicants because they got more funding? I hope so. Lol

Thank you! I'm in a BSN program, this will be my first degree and I hope so, they sent me the email today at five and I have until tomorrow at 3 to have everything submitted which I feel isn't really fair cause my school was closed and I have to wait until tomorrow to get the form signed and sealed. I think they're only giving me one day because if i dnt reply they'll offer it to someone else (that's just my thought). I'll keep you guys updated though

Congrats again. Yes it's seems like the time frame they gave you is very short. But, you know what don't sleep. Be the first person in your school early morning. Wake up so early Just only for tomorrow. Send them everything. You lucky. I am so jealous. Lol

Wow! Yes, Congratulations!! So happy for you! Glad to hear there was additional funding...wondering if that will apply to the next scholarship round?! I have not seen many PMHNPs that have been awarded My status shows under review still!

I didn't get any response either. I applied for ARNP program. I guess they done. I don't have any more hope. I dropped my class

I JUST had my contract counter signed!! They are still awarding :-)

Hey when u signed r contract was it electronically? I just submitted everything and signed it, was i supposed to print sign n upload?

Ok I didn't was just making sure. Did anyone say how long it took for them to sign after they submitted theirs? I can't believe i may actually be a winner :)
