Nurse Corps Scholarship 2018-2019

Hi Everyone, I'm planning to apply for the HRSA NurseCorp Scholarship this year. I figured I would go ahead and start the next thread for this award year. I'm currently finishing up some of my prereqs and will be starting my BSN program in June. I know the application date hasn't been released yet but from what I have seen on other threads, it should be opened sometime in March/April with a deadline in May. I've also read that the prompt questions have been the same from one award year to the next so I have begun working on them as well as trying to figure out who I would like to use as recommendations. I would love to hear from all who plan to apply this year.

It's always a good sign!! Where does it say?

i am a finalist as well!! i received the email on Wednesday and submitted my docs (W-4, etc) on wednesday! now, I am extremely anxious to have a final answer! i am so excited (but i also do not want to get my hopes up haha)

I think they are both finalists for the NHSC scholarship, not Nurse Corps, correct? And congrats!!

I checked on annualcreditreport.com under hard and soft inquiries and had none.

Can we specify for which scholarship please because I think most of us are waiting for the nurse corps and it's getting confusing, thanks!

I know, I was trying to see if they had credit checks on different dates because there is only one person in here that got a credit check for NurseCorps and Im hoping they do different dates because if not then we are all .... you know the rest lol

Well seeing that they seem to be awarding the NHSC applicants, maybe that means the Nurse Corps will be notified next!

Does anyone know if they let us know if we do not qualify? Sort of like a rejection letter or something? Or do they just do awards and the rest of us have to take the hint?
