I am interested in applying to the nurse corps scholarship 2017 2018 in order to pay for my accelerated program of sixteen months. I have a bachelors in sociology. I have done quiet a few researches. The application cycle will be open this month but I don't know which exact date. I have read discussion threads of previous years and have found really helpful information. I want to create a platform where interested applicants can ask questions, share information, discuss and help each other.

Hi I signed my contract for the Nurse Corps Scholarship on 8/24. I received an email today telling my I was a finalist again and to login to verify my intent of accepting the scholarship. I am so confused? They are giving me until 9/6 to resign the contract. I called customer service, the only explanation they could give me was that there may have been a glitch in the system. I resubmitted my documents and signed my contract again. Now my status is in Final review again! This is crazy and making me nervous. I have already started school and I have not paid my school because I am waiting for this award.

Yes, I had to resubmit some of my documents, the application status change is a normal process, I got an email today to resign the contract. Did you get an email today as well?
It is September 4th and I still have mine saying "Under review". Does anyone know if they will tell you that you did not get it before September 30th? Or do they just leave all of them as saying "under review" until September 30th? This waiting is killing me! I also don't have any sign of a credit check either. I realize these questions may have been answered already but I just want to know that and then when was the latest anyone knows of getting notified they received the award in the past? Please and thank you. Once again, I'm sorry if these questions are redundant..I am in an Accelerated BSN program and my time is limited on what I can read. Thank you.

This happened to me as well! I called and they said it would take 3-5 business days to get back to me. Have you heard anything back yet?
