Nurse Corps Scholarship 2017-2018

Hi everyone,

I am interested in applying to the nurse corps scholarship 2017 2018 in order to pay for my accelerated program of sixteen months. I have a bachelors in sociology. I have done quiet a few researches. The application cycle will be open this month but I don't know which exact date. I have read discussion threads of previous years and have found really helpful information. I want to create a platform where interested applicants can ask questions, share information, discuss and help each other.

Got a Credit check today 7/24!

It dropped my score a couple points and that's how I noticed. Good luck to all! Everyone stay positive!

Received a credit check today, 7/24, from CREDCO! Does everyone receive credit checks or just applicants they are considering?

I have also received a CREDCO inquiry today (7/24) via CreditKarma. My understanding is that all applicants will receive a check but who knows. I wish everyone the best of luck!

I got a credit check from Credco today. The request originator is listed as HRSA.

I didn't get a credit check last year and I didn't get offered a scholarship either...so I think they only credit check finalists.

Okay so I got a hard inquiry credit check from CREDCO yesterday which is a different credit check from the US Dept of Education which happened it May for my student loan so hopefully a good sign! ....But mine didn't say it was from HRSA. No contact info was provided. Ahhh this is so confusing!

Congrats to those who got a credit check yesterday! That's a good sign. There were some who got an offer without a check least year, but everyone who got a check got an offer that I know of. Hold the line I got my offer 13 days after my credit check and it was a brutal wait, but worth it! Remember to check that your area has service site, this is a vital thing to know before you sign that contract! I've posted links to the data ware house to check sites by address in previous posts. Keep thinking positive!!!

Thank you so much. That's very helpful information. I also received a hard credit inquiry on the 24th. Fingers crossed, but considering how many of us seem to have gotten one, could it be wishful thinking that we all might be in the running? Best wishes to all of us, at any rate. :)

Good morning everyone! I was anxiously awaiting my Credit Karma to update and this morning I saw a Credco check. I immediately noticed it because it caused my credit score to drop by 6 points.

I'm hoping for the best! I wish all of you God's blessing through this whole process. Keep trusting Him
