Hi Everyone,

I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

Got my credit check today! I only completed the application on Tuesday!!! Fingers cross the SUD LRP has tons of funds and I make the cut.

Same thing here, had to wait until September to find out I wasn't accepted. I wish we didn't have to wait as long ... it's torture.

So this isn't for the Nurse Corps loan then ... our applications were due back the end of March.

I only applied for Nurse Corps LRP...so it has to be for something relevant. Would they really do multiple hard inquiries? I can’t imagine that...

Sorry, my comment was confusing. I am sure the credit check was for the nurse corps LRP. I meant the person I responded to, they must not have applied for it but a different program, since they said they just submitted their application Tuesday.

Oh lol! Got ya. Yeah I doubt they would credit check that fast. If so that’s is super interesting.

This was for the NHSC SUD LRP. Applications was due end of March. I posted earlier asking if any of the ppl in this thread applied.

They indeed did a credit check two days after I submitted. The NHSC SUD LRP has and abundance of funds and application the did not complete their apps was given an additional week to do so if the were still interested. My co-work was notified in April that he is a finalist.

Things are finally getting interesting!! I also received a credit check from CREDCO yesterday according to Equifax.

RN, DTI >200%, HPSA score 20.
