Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

Wow. Well at least they said that and not, we just haven't notified all the rejects yet! I guess many people have already been notified that its a NO. So something about your application is still hanging on by a thread...mine too! Best of luck to you!

Yes, this process is maddening! I have the countersignature on my LRP as of 9/18 but no award notification has come by email. I haven't been able to get clarification despite multiple calls to the helpline. I read that a countersignature is indication of the contract becoming effective and that the award notice will follow by email but I haven't received anything by email. I read on an MD student site that the HRSA can be somewhat disorganized. I'm just hoping I/we didn't fall through the cracks. Does anyone else have a countersignature but no email award notice?

Yes, people have been notified of their rejection for this cycle already.

From what I understand, most people have received notice between July and August of this year if awarded. But, I called today and they are still awarding as of today. So.. hopeful too!

You still have no response even though they escalated the issue for you? That's so frustrating. What do they say now when you call? That is definitely what it says in the program guidelines.

YAY! when did you get your credit check? what are your stats? NP/RN/faculty?

Thank you! I haven't figured out my stats. I'm an APRN making 115k and have a total of 180k in student loans (159k of which are eligible nursing loans). My credit check was June 5. I was notified I was a finalist on 8/31 and countersigned on 9/18 but didn't get my award email until today 9/25.

Hey guys sorry if anyone already answered this question, but did anyone get a credit check and NOT receive a reward? I'm a first time applicant NP with about 90,000$ in loans. I'm working at a FQHC in NY and can not stand it here. I'm basically waiting to find out if I've received the reward, because if not I can't work with these conditions for this amount of money.

It's already 9/26 so I've basically given up hope. My credit check was in July.
