Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

I'm confused because I received the counter signature on 9/18. I see that many of you received your welcome packets on 9/19 after countersignature on 9/18. I haven't received any welcome packet and I'm still listed under final review, despite receiving countersignature on 9/18. Does anyone know whether a countersignature alone means approval for an award? And congrats to all of you who got it!!!

If you don't receive the welcome packet in the next 2-3 days, you can call the call line. Tell them you see a countersignature but have not received any further news. Same thing happened to me.

Hi! Thanks for your reply! What happened when you called the line? When I called the line asking them about this they opened a ticket and asked me to email them a screenshot of the cosigned contract. I did that but then only received a notice two days later saying that the COI "confirmation of interest" is just that and if I was selected I would receive a welcome packet and login to the portal. This just seems strange given that the contract states that it becomes effective the date it is cosigned...

Same exact conversation and email happened to me. The same day I called them I got my welcome email. And then two days later the person got back to me saying the same thing about COI and getting a welcome email if I'm awarded. I guess maybe that's just a generic email they send.

I think I saw the counter signature Monday and got the email Tuesday. When I spoke to the representative I asked if this has happened to anyone else and they said yes.

But I think it has taken longer for others. I was preparing to wait a few days because of what other people said on this thread.

Thanks :) I called again and the rep thought it was somewhat unusual and escalated the issue. She was able to tell that they had not started a participant portal for me though. She said not to worry yet tho...

Hi all! First time applying. Nurse faculty with D/I ratio around 200% and Tier 1. Got a hard credit check end of May but nothing since then. I assume all hope is gone by this time..

HI everyone. Still says "Under Review." What torture. I can't imagine that's good news in any way but why can't they just tell us!

Called this morning and as of today they said they were still giving out awards.. but not hopeful.

Wow. Well at least they said that and not, we just haven't notified all the rejects yet! I guess many people have already been notified that its a NO. So something about your application is still hanging on by a thread...mine too! Best of luck to you!
