Hi Fellow Nurses!
Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?
I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.
Is anyone else out there?

Plus there are several RN's on here that have applied for several years and finally got an award so that gives us hope for the future!!
Trying not to loose hope here but, maybe they are going in alphabetical order? Do those that were awarded have last names with A-E or something?! Please?

I received my email yesterday at 12p central. Last name starts with 'M'. I applied twice before for Nurse Corps about 7-8 years ago as an RN. If this information helps anyone.

I received my e-mail yesterday. I am an RN, tier 1, d/i around 188%. This was my first time applying. I believe my site CSF "score" was either 18 or 19. Hope this helps. Last name is "L."

How many signatures does the HRSA do on the contract? I just noticed there is an OFAM approval signature dated yesterday on my contract but I haven't received an email saying I received final approval yet. I received a finalist email on 7/28.

Does anyone know if people have received the finalist award but did not get the funding in the past?

Hi everyone! Congrats to everyone that has heard about rewards, I am sure they will continue to come through :) I have researched these sites for info for my wife so thanks to everyone who has provided so much info - my wife just heard at 12 PM yesterday she received RN Corps reward, FNP DTI 240% site score 16, we are both so excited!
She wanted me to post a question we have that maybe someone has some insight- she works at a clinic group (~20 clinics) that all have the same HRSA score. She gets moved around at times and at the time of application, she was based ("home clinic") at one place and that was the address we used. Now she is based at another clinic but still under the same clinic group umbrella. Now that we have have the finalist email, we are unsure whether to update her address or just continue with the current one since it is the same clinic group (but different clinic). Should we call to update this now (which worries me since I am hesitant to what the people on the phone might do and if it would accidentally make us ineligible) or just accept and if there is an issue later just make a simple transfer request?
Thanks for any input, congrats to everyone again! And for everyone still waiting, I have followed these forums for some years now, there really is no rhyme or reason and I would consider yourself in the running until the end (we have known plenty of people who receive it right at the end) :)
Id wait for the transfer request personally...
