2017 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Published

Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

Well this is CRAZY now i am just watching my email!! But its 630 CST now so I am sure they are done, RN Tier 1 HPSA 17, 170%. I just can't believe all the emails that went out today.

Received my nurse corps finalist email today at 1:00pm! NP, DTI: 160% tier one, site 18. So excited! Life changing!! I am wondering if anyone knows what the chances of not get awarded after you have accepted?? "Subject to availability of funds"??? Good luck to all!

I just checked my Equifax credit report and my credit was checked 2 times, once in April and once on June 5th. I had only seen the 1 time on Transunion using credit karma. But it was apparently reported 2 times to Equifax. Hope that is good news!!

I received my email at 5pm EST

NP, tier 3 due to a site score of 13, DTI 197%, quickly loosing hope

Specializes in FNP: Urgent Care & Primary Care; RN: Med-Surg.

Trying not to loose hope here but, maybe they are going in alphabetical order? Do those that were awarded have last names with A-E or something?! Please?

Mine starts with S

Don't lose hope! I had pretty much given up as well as it seemed all nurse faculty had been awarded. Then just when I had stopped obsessing over my email all day, every day, for the last 2 months, it came. They can be making awards for the next 30 days. It's not over 'till it's over! Sending out positive vibes to all of you. I know the waiting is agonizing but you've made it this far!
