I have the 2013 edition of Giger's book and the transcultural model for week 3 has a nursing assessment included. Does anyone have any of the earlier editions and does it contain the nursing assessment portion????

Please let me know -because if I don't have to do the nursing assessment poriton - I won't. Thanks

According to the instructions, we stop at the assessment part of the model.....

I dont know. I read the articles for last week, but when I did the test yourself, I missed 2 questions. Trying to retain 6 chapters in one week is unrealistic I think. But, I guessI am going to try to read what I can and skim the rest.

If we didn't have to do the DB it would help.

The DB for this week is easy, atleast I thought so. Didn't take me long at all to write it out.

Lovely... failed my quiz. Dropped my grade big time. Ugh I am now taking off a semester in July!

Oh no! I figured this one was going to be ugly ... too much information to cram into anyone's brain. You can pull up your grade - I failed the first quiz in community and still ended up with an A- .

Oh no! It must be a nit-picky quiz with no curve. It's okay...you can recover. We've all been there. Now I dread taking it!

I haven't finished the reading yet. What is the due date for the quiz?

I was going to focus on the questions they give us under the reading tab. I was thinking the quiz would be based on those questions. Am I off base?

We have until the end of the day Sunday. The questions sometimes help but not always.I would definitely use the questions to help pull the material together. I always take notes to help solidify the information. Sometimes it helps but not always. We'll do fine!
