Chemotherapy for breast cancer. Needless to say that I quit chemo early, much to the annoyance of my Oncologist. I have a new one.

Specializes in HH, Peds, Rehab, Clinical.

We see them in the 18-19 range far too often. They come to see us "because I can't see anymore". Dude, that's the LEAST of your worries!

My daughter's HbA1C was 14+ at diagnosis when she was 10 years old. (This is how we found out, incidentally) The handheld POC meter didn't go higher than 14.

Gotta love election season. I just saw a Facebook post by someone running for office.

Apparently he has such an amazing work ethic he continued to go to his job despite having a "really low sodium", a potassium level of 11.4, and being "really dehydrated".

He even posted the time sheets to prove it. Not the labs though. [emoji57]

Think I should vote for him?

I think if he does end up posting the labs you should next demand the last calibration report from the lab for that machine.

Are there different units for lactic acid? It's not unusual for us to see 30's and 40's. High normal is 12 for our lab I think. The highest I've seen is 180 (died).
