November Visa Bulletin came out!
For Nurse and Physical Therapists, all countries's cut-off date is 01-Oct-2005
http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3046.html
I-140 is the petition for the job, it is not the category. Schedule A is under EB-3 right where it needs to be. The I-140 is what everyone has filed. You do not file under Schedule A, there is no such document. Schedule A is a classification only.
Thanks ms. suzanne for the reply:) ... but forgive me, im still confused. I have a copy of my notice of action with me and i was petitioned I-140 skilled workers/professional. When i saw the november visa bulletin, the cut off under the classification of skilled worker/professional is july 2002 whereas schedule A is oct 2005. I just want to know if im included in the cut off oct 2005 though im classified as skilled/professional and not schedule A. Im also wondering why my agency didnt put me into schedule A classification. I will wait for your further explanation.. thanks in advance:loveya:

As a nurse, you belong to Schedule A. Physical therapists also belong in this schedule.
kurt2006 - you were interviewed last week too? Who knows, we might have been sitting next to each other! :) Regarding your visas, I'm glad to hear you submitted your document immediately. Since retro will be setting in, they'll probably have more time to prepare our visas. Here's hoping we get our visas soon.arys, agp_ph, happylearning, leis, jakey, bottomless - do you have schedules already? Good luck guys... you're in my prayers.
Hi penpaper!!!!
Congratuylations on your interview!!!! How was it? Most of us will have to wait for our turn...maybe next year.....
Keep in touch!!!

Unfortunately, no schedule for me yet.

hi, penpaper! sorry, no schedule yet for me, too! but thanks! i'm just waiting and being patient. surely, there will be a next batch of visas for nurses..with the shortage and all. :)
Hi jakey, agp_ph and leis!
Don't lose hope. Let's pray that this retrogression will be over soon. Some of my colleagues had their cases completed at the end of August and they still didn't get an interview! They remain optimistic that in a few months everything will be okay again.
By the way, jakey, the interview went well. Thanks for asking. =)
My family and I went a few minutes before 8:30 (appointment was 8:30am) and finished at 10:30am. I didn't experience any rudeness or disrespect at all. In my opinion, the medicals at St. Lukes was more stressful. Be sure to read and follow the tips found in this forum. They helped me a lot... especially Rep's... his shared experiences served as my guide during the entire medical and interview process.
Here's hoping and praying that all three of you will get your packet 4 soon. Don't forget to update us. :)
hi good day
im a nurse here in the Philippines waiting for visa allocation. i have an employer who filed me an I 140 last 2004. Infact i got my pocket 4 last quarter of 2004. But my petetioner cancelled my processing due to retrogression at that time and because i had not completed my english exam for visa screen. As of now i have my new employer who filed me again in USCIS last Sept 26 2006. Can i use my PD of my prevoius petetioner? Or do ineed to repeat all process from the beginning? My interview scheduled in US embassy in Manila was already expired, does it affect my status especially the priority date prevoiusly given to me?
thanks for helping me,
wayne
