I take mine Sunday and I'm freaking out! I'm trying to do just all questions this week and reading the rational. I have the Saunder's Comprehensive review and I did Hurst. I also have Kaplan NCLEX review questions and study guides that I've found posted here. I'm super nervous and I don't want to fail mostly because that's more money I'm going to have to spend. I graduated in April and the main reason it's taken me so long is because of the $200 and that's a lot when you're unemployed. I just hope I'm doing enough!

I've decided not to study today and just clean and organize stuff and forget I have the exam tomorrow. (At least until tomorrow!) I'll probably go over a few things tonight but not much. How's everyone else doing?

I took mine Friday 16th...finished at around 180 qs. 10 min before the time up.I thought I failed but the pop-up everyone is talking about is looking good for me. I studied only my weak areas in Saunders. borrowed several books from library. Exam cram, Hurst, Kaplan, lippincot...but barely had time to read them because I have 8 month baby! I studied only 2 hours a day after my baby slept at night. I read Hurst and Kaplan's test taking strategies at least. But didn't do CDs simply because it didn't work on my Mac.I won't be surprised if I fail :( But I do hope I passed!

I took mine on Nov 1st, only did Kaplan questions b/c that was the program our school gave us...all my scores were b/t the high 50's and very low 70's and I passed NCLEX with 115 questions! I felt like vomiting afterwards and swore I failed but I tried to re-register on Pearson Vue and couldn't so all my classmates said I passed, I called the board of nursings 1-800 # 24 hours later and it confirmed I passed...I know all of ya'll will do great!!! Good luck!!!!!

Yea for both of you!!

I have to wait tell Monday to confirm my passing with the WA state health dept. They usually make the license active within an hour of the exam. However I finished after 530pm so I'm assuming everyone was gone and have to wait tell Monday for it to be changed to active to confirm I passed. It beats paying for the $$ to find out :)

I took my exam this morning. i got home about 45 minutes later and got the good pop up! I'm in California and I know it takes forever to find out my official results and get my RN license. I'm so anxious!

I found using a combination of media to be helpful.

Here is a comment I put on another discussion. I started out using a Lippincott question book, but was not happy with it, so I got the Saunders Q/ A NCLEX book and then the Saunders REVIEW NCLEX book. The CDs that came with those books were good, but the Q/A book CD was better. I found the Saunders Review book to have a few errors, but overall, it is an excellent review and breaks it into small 10 page chapters that don't seem so overwhelming. It is very well organized and easy to read. The rationales are also excellent and helpful even when you answer the question correctly.

Also found the Feuer Pharmacology and Feuer RN/LPN review Audio CD sets that came w/ booklets to be excellent, although since I was already using Saunders, I did not use the booklets from Feuer as much as I planned. I enjoyed listening to Feuer and they gave a lot of helpful tips about such things as medication errors that you may not expect, but happen commonly. There were also a lot of legal issues covered which I did not completely have in my class materials. Overall, the lectures were interesting and some of the information will help me be a better nurse.

I used some of the book by LaCHarity et al on Prioritization and Delegation, which was also helpful, but with some of the answers, both me and some friends tended to disagree with the answer and sometimes the rationale was not really explained enough to justify their answer vs another that I and friends felt would be more appropriate.

JUST PASSED THE NCLEX ON FIRST TRY!! November 16, 2012 I passed in 90 questions. Had tons of select all that apply and prioritization. Not as bad as I thought. Been out of school for 5 months too. I did Kaplan review did only 25 questions out of Q Bank. Just remember the tree. And don't over think the test it's not trying to trick you. And remember if the computer is still on your still in the game. Good luck everyone!!!!
