Are you as excited as I am??

Did you get your acceptance letter/email?? I know from your last post you were in the "next wave".....when do acceptance letters go out?? Is this for Fall 2018 Block-1 start?

I can't apply until grades post in December. Acceptance let's go out in February I believe!! Yup, Fall block 1 start. It's so exciting. I hope the your block is going well. Glad you are still around here to give us hopefuls hope :)

I'm only applying for the regular program this semester but hopefully will apply for the concurrent program after summer. How do you feel about the new admissions rubric?

And sending lots of luck your way! :nurse:

Thank you. I'm a little nervous about the new rubric. It seems like many people will end up with the same scores and if that happens they go by position on the waitlist for the traditional program. I just applied for traditional early October so that worries me. I guess we will see. I'm applying to Gateway evenings. Good luck with your plans too!!

Do you know for sure it will be done on application date if there are people with the same scores? I'm wondering whether there are some other parameters that they might bring into play?

There is always the option now to transition over to CEP (like AmyAnn said) which is awesome!

Have you taken the HESI and done your fingerprints etc?

Personally I have not been told that but, many people on the Facebook page have. Yes, my hesi and fingerprints are done. I applied for traditional 10-8-17. I do think there are other parameters that come into play

I think there would have to be other parameters because like you said, so many people could have the same score. A lot of people will get the same points for GPA at the very least. And with the old rubric I saw a lot of people saying they never disclosed the true process for selecting students so it could be the same here. But hey if we get stuck on the waiting list maybe we will be in the same cohort, who knows :)

I don't have a previous degree (just graduated high school) so I might have to pick up some random associates degree to be more competitive

Just ready for it to all be over!!! Getting my app in at the end of this month and crossing my fingers. Good luck to everyone!!

Same, I seriously can't deal. I haven't even applied yet and I'm stressed lol.

Almost have last prereqs done for NAU! All I have left to go is for grades to be posted!

The new rubric is a gamechanger for a lot of people though. Will be "fun" to see how the process turns out now that everything is changed.

Hi Luckysnakeeyes,

I know you must be very excited. Accoring to new rubric, what is your total points? (If you don't mind to share)
