Hi! I will be submitting my NSU application at the beginning of next week (just waiting on my second L.O.R.) and I can't wait! I am very anxious to hear back from them, and have my fingers tightly crossed I will get accepted for spring. Are there any other hopefuls out there??
First off, I just want to say that I hope that you all get in and wish all of you the best of luck. I have become an 'fan' of this thread/forum. Although I have not yet applied to a nursing program, I have become as anxious for all of you in wanting to know if you all got accepted to the program so badly. I don't know the feeling, but I can empathize along with the butterflies in my stomach for you all.
Also, I would like to know if Nova has ever offered an open house for the nursing program? Not the general open house for the school itself. Once again I will tune in everyday to hear the great news for everyone on this forum.

Welcome to Allnurses! I know the kendall campus has weekly information seminars for prospective nursing program applicants. I attended one of these before I applied.
Upcoming information meeting dates for NSU at Miami-Kendall, FL
you have to call the Kendall Campus at (305) 274-1021 to register.
To get dates for information meetings at other campuses here are their phone numbers.
Fort Myers campus: Phone: (239) 274-6070
Fort Lauderdale (Main Campus): Phone: (954) 262-8000,
First off I would like to congratulate all of you that were accepted. Good luck to you all and I truly wish you all the best. I guess it is safe to assume that if one does not receive an email, then they have not been accepted. I guess I will keep trying and hopefully some day I will get in. I just don't know what more I can do, I have a 3.7 overall GPA and a 3.8 Science GPA and it still is not enough. I have 18 years experience as a medic in the Army and it still is not enough.

Okay, so I called Nova this morning. The admissions counselor I spoke to said all letters will be sent on the 31st.
