whoa, congrats guys!

for anyone still waiting on an acceptance/rejection letter, i called the office this morning to confirm whether or not they were still being sent out and i was met with an emphatic "yes! they're being released in waves". so fear not. i also applied a week before the application was due (very last minute decision), so perhaps that affects when you receive notice.

good luck to everyone still waiting.

Thanks for the info, Amkat! I also applied a week before the deadline and have not heard anything yet this morning, so I am very relieved to hear this news. Please let me know when you find out, I will be sure to post here as soon as I find out. Best of luck to you :)

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THOSE ACCEPTED TO THE MAIN CAMPUS! :yeah:

Amkat- If this helps you at all, here is Ashley's direct phone number 954.262.7181

And her email is ao237@nova.edu. I wasn't sure whether or not you were talking to the general admissions department, or if you were contacting Ashley directly. If you have never contacted her before, you should do so to ease your troubles. She is very helpful!

thanks! i've spoken to her before and i've flooded her with emails during the whole application process. i feel like i should send her flowers by now after all that incessant pestering.

Hey Guys,

I got my email, VIP page changed stating I was accepted and new requirements to fill out to officially accept my seat in the program. I applied with 3.57 overall GPA, Honors graduate, and science GPA of 3.6. I applied and submitted all my forms the last day to apply at the Main Campus which I think was Sept 2.

However, I will be denying my seat. Since I was already accepted at MDC medical full-time program. Which was my first choice on the list of schools I applied at.

I hope this info can help, and good luck to all of you!! :))

CONGRATS TO THOS WHO MADE IT IN.

:anpom: *wine :dancgrp: :ancong!: :yeah:  :w00t:

2 weeks???? Wow..........

i called again just to make sure but i kept getting several answering machines over at the nursing department. i asked someone at general admissions and made sure they knew i was *specifically* talking about the entry-level BSN program and yes, the person on the other end said up to 2 weeks.

sorry if i'm beating a dead horse here but i didn't want to give anyone the wrong information.

i've got a seat in another program in NY but i would prefer to be able to live rent-free with the parents in FL.

So did your VIP change first or did you receive the acceptance email first?

I would think it's about the same time, or I got the email first. I say that because the email was sent at 7:13 am today. When I woke up I checked my email. My vip page was different and the notification email was in my inbox. But like Dominican1210 said, what matters most is getting the packet in the mail. The email and VIP page change is so that a student can start early on paying the fees and getting the paperwork ready for orientation date.

Just my observation and what I was briefly told by Ashley in September.
