Nova Southeastern University Entry Level BSN Winter 2014

Hi future nurses! I've been searching for a recent forum of the BSN program for Winter 2014 but couldn't find any so I decided to make one myself. I applied to the Winter 2014 BSN program at NOVA. All my prereqs are done, my GPA is 3.7 and my science GPA is 3.5. I was hoping to receive feedback from anyone who has applied in the past or is currently applying like myself to the Winter 2014 program! Have any of you gotten an interview call yet?:nailbiting::nailbiting:

@sandyisntcool, if you don't mind me asking, what was your gpa (overall and science)? How about your Kaplan score?

My overall was 3.3, science 3.5, and I got an 84% on the Kaplan.

I'm also waiting to hear back. I had my interview on Oct. 9th. Really hope I get into Nova, really felt like it was a good fit.

@Kelcey My overall gpa is 3.7, science gpa is 3.5 and my kaplan score was 70. terrible in my opinion! have you checked your vip page?? thats how I found out that I got in!

I took off two days of work just to study for this Kaplan test ! I am so nervous and stressed about getting into Nova because this has been my number one pick for nursing schools and I am dying to go there. I am currently taking Micro/Lab at Broward but I am not doing so well, it's two days a week and very demanding. On top of that I have Nutrition and Statistics to finish this semester so I am so nervous they will deny me once they see my final transcript in December. My science GPA is 3.8 and my overall GPA is 3.6. I am part of PTK also but I am a freak with my grades.

@kelcey hey i did my interview on october 1. I didnt do good at all on my kaplan exam but my interview i did great. Everyday i check my VIP Page to see if i got in. It is super nervewrecking!!!!!!! This is my dream to become an RN

@leass21 I do too and I keep checking my email but nothing. I didn't do that good on the kaplan either bit I feel like my gpa and interview can bypass that! I'm so nervous cause a lot of people are finding out and I haven't'!
