Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.
I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.
Hello everyone, I trust you are all doing well. I received the scholarship call on Tuesday morning. So I'm in too!!! Congratulations everyone!!! I'm so very happy for all of you. A friend of mine got the scholarship too and I'm just...elated and relieved :) I haven't posted in awhile because I had some things going on but all is well. I'm actually using my phone right now and I'm hoping i get to post this properly. Lol. On the other hand, I wanted to inform you guys that the uniform store in Plantation, Fl is cheaper for scrubs and the labcoat BUT it is not the correct font that Nova is using at this time. I ordered mine from them and it's wrong. I compared it with the one my friend ordered via the NSU bookstore and it's not the same unfortunately. I recommend being safe and order it through NSU. I went ahead and did this against my better judgement and it didn't work out. I am just hoping it's not that big of a deal and they won't ask me to change it. All the best!!!

I ordered my scrubs from nsu as well, I didn't want any problems.
They are a bit expensive but they're 100% accurate. You cannot go wrong by purchasing them.

Me too now I can't wait to finally start :) No I haven't gotten the stethoscope yet because from what I've heard, we will need it next semester for skill labs and clinicals. A lot of people recommended the Littmans Classic SE and it's great but I am leaning towards the Littmans Cardiology. It's more expensive but I figure when we start our pediatric clinicals it would be nice to have the advantage of the Littmans Cardiology. What do you think? Have you gotten shoes? I got an all white leather nursing shoe from skechers for $40. It's shape ups too and super comfortable.

I ordered it online. It takes 2-4 weeks to ship. They take orders for lab coats at the bookstore also but it's more convenient online.
