Nova Southeastern University Entry Level BSN?

Published

Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.

I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.

Thanks everyone in advance! :)

I got the full pell grant & some others. What is the FL Resident access grant? The system automatically accepted those grants for me. And is there anything else we should be doing for NOVA before orientation other than the Fl residency forms? I want to get everything prepared :) and also cookiemonsterpower how much does your friend get paid thats in the baptist program as a Scholar nurse partner?

She starts working during her last two semesters. This summer is her third semester. But from her experience she totally loves the program. I think from a previous conversation with her its around 10-12 $.

I don't think anything else other than the FL Residency form of Affidavit: for that you need to get it notarized and have necessary documents proving you are a Florida resident. (License etc..) and mail ir not fax it.

Oh wait there is something:

-Make sure you accept nova's insurance or have it waived after you are registered for your classes.

-Immunizations are due in November so you don't have to worry about that. Unless your like me and like having everything done on time. :) Just kidding.

-Sign up and attend orientation that is on August 20th.

Yes. I got the pell grant and a few other grants.

Did you accept them? I just did.

Where there alot of people at make up today?

I'm assuming i didnt get it since i didnt receive a call on mon or tues and there were only 6 people at orientation makeup today they said we have exactly 100 students in the program this semester, thanks! I wish the best of luck to all of you too!

What happens if I don't get the insurance waived??

You have to get NSU Insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield. And its not cheap.

I think they are taking more students too. Noooo plz don't think like that. Try to stay positive!!! I know the wait is rough but it makes it harder if we are not positive. Do not worry...only time will tell. Good Luck
