Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.
I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.
Thanks everyone in advance! :)
Oh if anyone is in interested my friend send me this link:

Also the uniform for the baptist uniform is the same was the uniform for the regular student who don't have the scholarship. The scrubs are blue and the shoes have to be white. The scrubs and lab coats have to have our names and nova logo stitched on it.At orientation they will tell us exactly what we need and such. Shame orientation is not until August.
My friend recommends waiting till school starts to buy the books you might not need them .
Before school starts I am going to get my shoes, book bag and school supplies. I am going to wait for orientation for the scrubs. Unless I get the direction for that store in Davie with cheap uniforms.
You made a great decision! This is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. And thank god we use the same scrubs because I already bought mine lol. I bought them at the nsu store online, they were a bit expensive :/ orientation is August 20th right? Do you know if they're going to separate us into groups? I think the baptist scholars get separated into a specific group for the rest of the year.

I bought my scrubs already. The scrubs top does not bring the logo, only the student name and below it says NSU nursing student.

I don't know if the are. But I don't think it matters. Yes orientation is August 20 at 9:00 am.
I just talked to a friend in the baptist program she entered in Fall 2012. She says the scholarship does pay the summer term. It pays full tuition not books or uniform or any other fees . So what it doesnt cover get ready to pay out of pocket or using financial aid or bright futures or pre-paid college or anything else you might have.[/quote']Did your friend say anything else about the scholarship?.. Someone had mention that once you start working for baptist they will deduct pmt for the tution. I taught it didnt make since cause it would not be considered a scholarship, more like a loan..

I think that's a lie. I know nurses already working their three years and they haven't complained about the pay.

I asked my friend about the pay and she didnt hear anything about that.
Thank you cookiemonsterpower! I didn't ask and they didn't say. They did tell me that they were giving out 48 scholarships instead of 25 like they used to. That is actually good news...i think. The director mentioned that they interviewed over 100 students so far. To be honest, i think that there aren't many left to interview for Nova. Hang in there :)
Have you heard anything yet? Good luck! :)
