Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.
I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.
Thanks everyone in advance! :)
Congrats everyone that got the scholarship. I received the scholarship as well :) :) :) I was soooooooooo excited I started tearing up lol I am so ready to start now. Can't wait to meet you all. I wonder if they will have us all come in at the same time to sign papers and do the drug test next week. Woohooo so happy lol :)
No I didn't apply for it, they gave it to me. It's for 5000 a semester.
Congrats! :) You deserve it! I know you had an awesome GPA which you worked really hard for. Does it pay summer too? Or are you going to save up? I get financial aid and bright futures so I am going to save up for any fees/books I might need.
I just talked to a friend in the baptist program she entered in Fall 2012. She says the scholarship does pay the summer term. It pays full tuition, not books or uniform or any other fees . So what it doesnt cover get ready to pay out of pocket or using financial aid or bright futures or pre-paid college or anything else you might have.
If anyone is interested, I have another friend who attends the main davie campus and she is majoring in health administration (she is a transfer student from a community college), she says Nova gives you a scholarship if you get good grades after your first semester. She had a 3.7 gpa+ after her first semester and got a scholarship. I know someone who works at Nova and they told me this information too. So everyone maintain your grades . :)

Aweee thank you!!! It does not pay for summer so I will be saving it up as well as my bright futures. Did you finally make a decision on fiu or nova? You should definitely take this opportunity baptist is granting you!

Oh wow! This is awesome news!!!! We don't have to stress about summer anymore! Haha!!!! And we all definitely have to keep up the good GPA! The more the merrier haha!

Yeah I am going with Nova. The scholarship is awesome! I feel I would have more opportunities if I went this route rather than FIU. Dont get me wrong I loved FIU's nursing program and star center and enjoyed orientation. But knowing how hard it is now a days to get a new grad nursing job, this program is the way to go. I mean you get your school payed, get trained really well and have a job. What more do you want? Nova was my first choice. I applied to FIU just in case I didn't get into Nova or received the scholarship . I know you are not supposed to count all your eggs in one basket.
