Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.
I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.
Thanks everyone in advance! :)
Btw guys, was Nova your first choice and how do you guys plan on paying tuition, loans?
Nova was my first choice and the only place i applied. Well i applied to barry like a week after applying to Nova because i freaked out that maybe i wasnt going to get in since i thought my interview didnt do so well..and to pay most likely financial aid and get loans depending on how much financial aid i receive.

Nova is also my first choice. I applied to Barry and FIU as well. (Barry accepted me) I am soon going to pay the $200 deposit. (Just waiting for the acceptance package in the mail) I really don't want to take out loans. I have financial aid and the Florida bright futures. Since I am a ptk student, Nova also gives me an extra $1,000 . The Baptist scholarship is my only chance. It is such a great opportunity!!!

The bright futures is a scholarship you apply to while in high school. Its based on GPA, and Test Scores.

My GPA from college is 3.76 and on science is 4.0. The only thing that perhaps is causing this problem is a foreign transcript that I sent along with my college transcript. I was in dental 10 years ago, but I never finished due to financial and family issues. The problem is that I didn't have the best grades at that time because I was dealing with emotional issues due to family issues. For that reason my GPA in that specific transcript was left that 3.0. One day, K. A. Called me letting me know that I will need to send a statement explaining the reasons for what I didn't do well at the time even though they won't transfer any credit. But she told me that although that transcript won't be used, it still count toward my actual GPA from college ( 3.76)
So that it would be the only reasonable explanation I can think of for putting me on hold list until may 27. Sad but true?
