Nova Southeastern University Entry-level BSN Fall (August) 2015! (:

Published

Hi everyone!

I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.

I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here

If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.

If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.

Please join again, Lilian. I am not a huge fan, but it is a great way for all of us to stay in touch and communicate throughout the semester. Congrats again!!! I am thrilled for you :)

Lilian, main campus.

But we will see each other I believe you guys come to the main campus once or twice a week for class.

How's the paperwork going for everyone?

I haven't received the admission packet yet. But I already finished all the steps that are on the VIP page. How about you ?

the only thing that I have done is to paid the deposit, what's next??

The background check and your immunizations, fafsa, and waive your health insurance.

Hey Everyone!!!

Congrats on everyone who has gotten accepted into the nursing program! My name is Nick and I too am applying for the Fall 2015 program for the Miami location. I have my interview set for May 14th! I'm kind of nervous yet excited yet scared yet anxious yet all of the above!!! lol. Can anyone explain how was the essay portion? how long do you have to write? etc?

Nick , the essay part is the easiest part don't worry. They ask you a question, for example mine was explain a time where you had a group presentation. What was your role? Outcome? Etc. then below that they have lines to write. So it's really just one page. Just make sure to answer the questions. I didn't write mine so fancy like a real essay, I just wrote to answer the questions.

Awesome thank you Isanardo!!! I'll keep you guys updated on how everything goes! Does anyone else have the interview the same day?

Hi Nick

My interview is also on May 14. I think we are the last group to be interview I guess. I am so excited too! Hope to meet you there!!

dont be nervous everything will be fine, the test is not that bad math is very easy and I am not good at math. dont spend a lot of time in the problems because till might not be your friend leave enough time to do the last 6 questions which are conversions and unfortunately I didn't have enough time for those questions and finished the test just clicking any answer because run out of time. reading and writing were bad for me because I had migraine and could not focused but it's not that bad and science, I think that what I study was not good at all because it was too specific, the only questions that I remember are the exact process of the heart such as where it start the deoxygenate blood and where it goes like the whole process. then where does the exchange of blood and oxygen occurs where is the alveoli. just do your best and you will be fine. Also, the essay section I had the same topic that someone just mentioned and I did the same things just answer the questions in a small essay and that's it. the interview was so easy, I felt really confident and try to be yourself there were 3 individual questions and 2 in groups.

I had the same topic for the essay as well, Nick!
