tiffany305 12 Posts Apr 11, 2016 Hey guys I applied pretty late as well how long does it take for them to get back with you for an interview? I've applied at other schools but this is definitely the one on the top of my list. They received my transcripts about a week ago. Does it take longer than that?
unicorndreams 43 Posts Apr 11, 2016 Hi Tiffany305! For me it took about two weeks to hear back from them. They received my transcripts on March 11th and then on the 25th I received a call asking when I can interview. I will say that during (March 18-22) I was out of the country so I'm not sure if they had called during that time.

unicorndreams 43 Posts Apr 12, 2016 So I just finished the Kaplan. It's pretty straight forward and exactly as others on this forum have said. Math is all basic and you get to use a calculator provided on the screen. The passages are boring but simple comprehension. The writing is identifying out of place punctuation or verbs or sentence structure. The science is just the systems. The two people we met (the one who proctored our exam and the other who gave us a tour) were both extremely nice and down to earth. So far we seem to be a bigger bunch, 12 people. wevelasquez I can't give any new advice other than what's already been given. Study your systems. Some of the science is a matter of either you know it or not. While others if you know your systems you know what affects what and what the reaction of equal action would be. I'm definitely calmer now and looking forward to the interview portion this afternoon.
unicorndreams 43 Posts Apr 12, 2016 Finished the interview portion and I have to say I'm beyond impressed with Nova. Everyone there, and I do mean everyone we came in to contact with was genuinely nice and wanted to make sure we weren't nervous. We all sat together first where the Program Director and one other professor told us about the program, and the baptist scholarship. Then we did interviews one by one. The questions for the interviews were pretty random scenario questions and then a chance to talk about yourself. They really just want to get a sense of who you are, what motivates you, why you want to go into nursing. I think you'll do great Wanda! Keep me posted after you do your interview. It seems most if not all the others from this thread have all migrated more to the FB page.
