I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!
Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
They told me there was a change to my status, there's wasn't a change, they aren't releasing anything til June, they do them in batches not individually, they do it individually by each person, they are interviewing til June, the last interview is may 24, lol yea know every answer has a contradiction. They also said as soon as there was an answer they would contact ASAP, and that it wouldn't be an email or on the VIP page but a letter.
Probably why I'm just a little frustrated. I think I'm just gonna wait. Not call or check anything for a while. It's driving me too crazy lol
I know that I should probably just relax, if it's meant to be it will be and there's nothing I can change now. So with that said congrats to everyone who got in and for the rest of us- the wait in on!!
Woo hoo got an answer! Lol they are continually looking at applications. As soon as they make a decision they will contact. If you don't hear anything it just means you're still be reviewed/compared to others. It's not necessarily a bad thing. It also doesn't matter when you interviewed they are just accepting some right away and others later. I hope this help for everyone who is waiting!!
Oh man this is serious! Well yes you are right samiam856! I guess the wait is all we can do till June... but wow till June?..thats 3 weeks from now! They are killing us with silence

I am still waiting for her to email me back. I believe she is still out of the office. I spoke to ante women in charge of the entry level program thy is familiar with how everything works. Hopefully we will all have answers soon!

Yay...I just received an email that I got accepted at nova at fort lauderdale campus....finally, the wait is over...good luck to all of those who are still waiting...have some some patience and wait...everything will work out. just keep believing.
