I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
Hi JillianG0514,I still haven't received the package yet, and I feel just the same way. Lol. I have never checked my mail so periodically like I do now. I'm hoping we get it very soon!!! :)

For those who have been accepted: Has anyone received their accecptance package in the mail yet? It has been over a week since I have been accepted, and still, NOTHING! I just really want the package lol and my baptist scholars application!
I just heard back from UM and got in but they sent my acceptance so late that I can't afford it and because I switched my major... I have a lot of credits pending and I won't have ALL my credits until July... It scares me because it makes me think NOVA thinks of me as a risky acceptance since I'm not done. But @samiam856 I'm sure you'll get in!!! From these threads( with the exception of futureARNP53 and scarcely any others) I learnt that it takes at least 2 weeks to get a response... We just have to leave it in God's hands and be patient

Funny, got an email from UM telling me it's not too late to apply even though the deadline passed. I started my app but never finished it. Hopefully we will both have good news from NOVA soon! I'm trying to stay positive but I'm starting to get a little iffy
Haha the UM application was just so weird. I might still apply for fAll I guess, but that whole form my school has to fill out was just annoying. Lol. I know the tuition is similar, but I don't really wanna move to Miami unless its for the baptist scholarship haha. I really just wanna know If I got Ito nova or not. And of course I've cAlled a million times and every time I get a different answer from someone else. I'm just getting impatient and I want it so bad! Fingers crossed!
Hey samiam, did u apply to south university its in west palm. They have a bsn program as well. Plus I meet the most amazing bsn at boca community hospital(he started the most impossible IV on my son) and told me he graduated from there. It's just another option, I mean there bsn program is 19 months!!! And there is no craziness to get in like Nova. Though I do still want to get to Nova even if it's 8 months longer. U should check them out.
CONGRATS!!! I can't believe you got an answer in 5 days!!! That's amazing :) I had my interview at Kendall campus on May 3 @11:00am, so I am still patiently waiting for an answer. Im beginning to get nervous now, but on the bright side I haven't received a regetion letter!! Good luck and I hope to be a future classmate this semister :)
Thank you so much! I know, I am shocked as well. I was told that it would take about two weeks to get a response. I didn't think that it would be this fast. I am relieved though. Don't worry you will get an email soon. Good Luck!! :)
