I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
JillianG0514.... what was your reaction when you read it?... mine.. same story as yours i went out on friday.. came home late like around 12 on saturday morning my brother called me and i was kind of sleepy so i was like let me check my emails.. ( i usually do that)... but i saw that it says CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ACCEPTANCE.. i thought it was acceptance to the university not to the college when i opened the email.. it was kendall campus whatever... i started crying like a baby.. with i called back my brother.. when i called my mom she almost crashed the car.. cus she couldnt understand what i was saying cus i was crying so bad... she thought that i was crying because the house got on fire... LMAOO... ( she came home and went straight to the bathroom.. ) you imagine the rest lmaoooo... then she cried so much.. i felt so good.. its something unique :)
Ha, omg! I had went out on friday night and I was really upset at my boyfriend lolz, I ended up getting home realllllly late, and 2 hours later I got the email. I cried so hard when I read it! It was like everything I was upset about i didn't care about anymore. And right after I read it, my mom called me from her job and I told her that I was accepted and she started crying in the middle of her job LOL. I couldn't sleep, because I was so excited so I didn't bother going to sleep at all. I stayed up the rest of the Saturday. A couple of days after I told my boyfriend, he bought me a cake and made a really big banner that said "CONGRATS JILL" and he drew a shark on it lol since NSU's mascot is a shark. He made a surprise party for me, so needless to say, I wasn't mad at him anymore :) haha
I just found this message board and I had my interview yesterday for the fort myers campus. I saw that the program was 27 months, does anyone know if these are consecutive? Thanks!

Hey Melissa2014, yes they are consecutive!! I also applied to ft myers but i had my interview a while back.. like 3 weeks ago and i was accepted!! :)

I am so happy that u got in!!! Congrats! I had my interview may 3 at kendall campus! When ad where did u have yours? So I can have a rough estimate in MAYBE when to expect the email or letter :) I believe that you cried happy tears! I've been driving my family and friends insane to ! Lol

Awww that is so sweet of your boyfriend! Lol he gets kudos for that one :) when did you have your interview and at what campus? I had mine on may3 and I'm also impatiently waiting lol omg it's so stressful lol buy I'm so happy for you congrats! I can only imagine the feeling you got once you received the email :) again congrats :) !!!!!!!!!
Hey guys. I was looking at this forum I was like I should help you guys who need help with Nova. I've been in you guys shoes. I'm a Nova student in Fort Myers. Just finish my 1st semster about to start my 2nd semester. For the people wondering about uniforms in the Fort Myers area. You can order at a Hamilton is the cheapest place you can go. Also, at the Fort Myers you don't have to wear your scrubs you can wear business attire with your lab coat. For the first two weeks while waiting for your scrubs and lab coat you can just wear your business attire (plainly). For the books they might be changing it and some books they tell us to get, we hardly use them. For the 1st semester you will not doing any clinical until 2nd semseters so you don't have to get your stescope yet. If you guys have any questions just let me know. I'll be happy
JOEYFutureARNP.... i hope you get in too.. my interview was on april 19 at 12:30... so i wait for over two weeks... i gave them the final and official transcripts on may 3 ( thursday) and on saturday i got the email of acceptance... :)

Thanks for offering the help and answering our questions! I got accepted to the ft. Myers campus for this fall :)Do you have any idea if they will be changing the advanced anatomy book?! I just ordered mine to start on my reading so I hope they do not lol .... When do they usually give us the book list?!
Also, for the instate tuition I got an email with the paper work and there is a affidavit, can we get that notarized at a bank?! Or does it have to be somewhere else ?!
