Hi everyone! I'm creating this thread for the Fall 2021 cohort since I have not seen one. I have been recently accepted so I can help with any questions you have about the application process! There is also a facebook group for the accepted students of this cohort called Nova Southeastern- Fort Myers ABSN Fall 2021. So if you or anyone you know got accepted, please refer them to this group ?

Do you guys remember what questions they asked in the interview? I wanna be as prepared as possible bc my last nursing interview went so bad bc of how nervous I was ?
also after you guys submitted everything how long did it take for them to contact you?

Tell me about yourself and why nursing? If I recall correctly it was about a week or so

Hi Everyone, I am applying to the Fall 2021 ABSN program! For the Kaplan exam, how quickly did you receive your scores back? Do you see an unofficial version immediately or do you have to wait to obtain an official email with your score? My exam is this Tuesday and I am a little nervous about  the exam. Also, I saw on a previous thread that there was an essay involved, is that still correct???

I know the program says 4 semesters, but does anyone know how many months that is? I’ve heard 13 months, 16 months, and even 2 years.

Hi everyone.

I just got admitted to Nova for the Fall ABSN program, however, I am feeling extremely hesitant on accepting. My interviewer seemed a bit curt at some moments, an admissions rep never reached out to me, the website seems very wordy and I couldn't find the start date of the program listed anywhere. I don't have an 'official' letter of acceptance - I was told by the interviewer I was being put through for acceptance and additional information showed up on my SharkLink. Otherwise, I'm calling different departments and trying to get answers. Am I the only one who has had this experience and should I be concerned??

Hey I’m in the same situation, I think we could hear from them this week. I’ll let you know if I find anything that could help.

@FutureMaleNurse I got accepted since my status changed on SharkLink. My overall experience really disappointed me and maybe I’m digging into things too much, but if you felt the same way then I guess it’s good to know I’m not alone. I wish you the best and I hope you do get accepted. ?

Hi. I'm a current student. It's 16months for ABSN. total of 4 semesters including Summer

Hi. Im a current ABSN student. vibes depend who you interviewed with. some of the faculty are great... others are like you mentioned. website won't tell you much. start date for us was august 17. the ABSN program is very new. only one cohort has completed the program. they had under 15 students. cohort 2 graduates this upcoming December with 57 students s far. then cohort 3 just started their 2nd semester. hope all this helps a bit!
