Nova Southeastern ABSN Fall 2021

Hi everyone! I'm creating this thread for the Fall 2021 cohort since I have not seen one. I have been recently accepted so I can help with any questions you have about the application process! There is also a facebook group for the accepted students of this cohort called Nova Southeastern- Fort Myers ABSN Fall 2021. So if you or anyone you know got accepted, please refer them to this group ?

Thank you! I just submitted the NursingCas and NSU application. It was like 105$ for both. Wow. I now have to send all my transcripts to NSU even though they are already on the nursingcas app! Crazy ahh best of luck to both of us! Have you taken the Kaplan exam yet?

My friend in the program said she thinks she only send her transcripts to NursingCAS .. what about you guys that have already been accepted? I rather save money but also I might just in case

Honestly

I sent it through both, but I think sending directly to NSU gets them in faster.

Yes I took the Kaplan test on the 27th and received my acceptance email on the 30th

I sent mine to both.

I received a 87 on the Kaplan test and my GPA is 3.94. I have taken both the Kaplan and TEAS exam and I found the Kaplan easier.

Wow that’s really good:) I graduated from FSU my cumulative GPA is a 3.6, not sure what my prereq GPA is for this program. I got an 85 on TEAS without studying and didn’t take it a second time! What about you? I’m hoping to get atleast an 85 on the Kaplan as well ?

Dang it must be a lot easier than the TEAS! Thank you. Hopefully NSU gets back to me soon ?
