Hi everyone! I'm creating this thread for the Fall 2021 cohort since I have not seen one. I have been recently accepted so I can help with any questions you have about the application process! There is also a facebook group for the accepted students of this cohort called Nova Southeastern- Fort Myers ABSN Fall 2021. So if you or anyone you know got accepted, please refer them to this group ?

Hi Alex! I just had my interview and Kaplan today and was told by the director right after the interview that I was admitted!!

HI! I am supposed to have my Kaplan Exam next week. I was told they would be sending an email soon with the information to follow about getting into the exam. Is it proctored by a live person or computer? Is there a software I need to download prior? I just wanna make sure my computer has the correct software and does not glitch!!

The exam is proctored by three different individuals.

Hey guys! So I just decided today I’m going to apply for NOVA ABSN for Fall 2021 too just because all the programs are so competitive and I don’t wanna put all my eggs in one basket. It’s crazy how much I have to do for each school. I’m a little confused bc Nova is missing so much info on their website. They only list 14 credits as the prereqs. Are there any other courses that are required? I only took biology not chem so that is my only concern. Also how did you guys register for Kaplan? It’s crazy they have no info about it on their nova nursing website. I took the TEAS for other schools. Was the Kaplan test hard? Also I can believe they get back to you about their decision as soon as you submit everything. Are you guys comfortable with sharing your scores since you have already been admitted? I’m sorry for all the questions ? do you guys know who I can email at the school?

Hey how did you register? I legit feel stupid trying to figure out which exam it is and how to register to take it online. Ahhh

Heyy so once you apply, then call you if you are being considered for admission and set up an interview and test date for you! And they send all the info to you so you don’t really need to do anything!

Did you have to pay for the test? And do you mean once I apply to the school or on nursingcas? I still have to take a CLEP for Human Growth and Development. I guess I’ll just apply and see what happens.

Also- (again sooooo sorry for all the questions this process is just so different from other programs)- did you guys also have to send your transcripts to NOVA even if they are already sent to nursingCAS?

No the test is free they pay for it, but you need to do your nursing cas app and then the NSU one, and send all the transcripts in.

Yes do you the NursingCas application, submit all your transcripts and pay the $50.
