Anybody is taking NCELX in Nov? Let's get together and support each other to go through this. I am taking the test on NOv 19. Studying tips are welcome too.
well it is all over and i pray for the final time!!!! i had 6 sata, 2 meds, 1 math and lots of priority and delegation questions. the computer stoped at 75q and i thought don't stop, but it did and now....i don't know what to think pass or fail...... i pray pass, but you know if i didn't i will take it again. after all this was my first time to retest after 4 years after graduating in 1999!thanks to everyone that has included me in their prayers!!!!!
i know the lord has a reason for everything and in a few days i will know if it was his will or not!!!
congradulation to all that have passed this month!!!!
good luck to all that will test in the future!!!
sounds good, ohnonotagain! turning off at 75 is a good sign. after all, some people end up doing over 200, trying to convince the computer they passed. i think you'd have to bomb out terribly for the computer to give up on you after the minimum amount of questions. let us know!

Diahni,
I did pass, although I still can't believe it....
I just memorized the labs in the detailed test plan and the basic bloods/abg's...also, I don't remember who it was on here had posted a bunch of meds whose therapeutic ranges were like 10-25 and i'll be if i didn't get one of those drugs...thanks for whoever posted that:yelclap:
As far as the dosage cal. goes, initially I got very basic questions...but then the last one I did was pretty advanced...lol I didn't even think about the 0 in front of the decimal...if you would have said that to me right after my test I think I would've fainted...haha
I knew based on my saunder's that ob, babies, and peds were my deficit, and I swear, every other question was, 'a mother in her 2nd trimester, yadayada', or a 4 year old with whatever disease, etc....and it went on and on...i literally was reviewing these subjects until i got out of the car to take the test...and boy am i glad i did...jeesh....i guess when you miss one in a topic area like that it decides to continue with that same topic to determine if you meet the entry level requirement for that particular topic...i don't know...
my instructor asked me how the questions were compared to the ones they write and i'm like...uh your questions were easier...haha...
oh well it is over, thank God....
I had to renew my cpr the other day and they pulled out the test and i'm like oh jeeshhh...i thought i was done with tests for awhile..lol
well, good luck to you in your career, your going to be great!!! :icon_hug: take care!!!
Hello all, sad to say unfortunatelly that I did not pass the NCLEX. This was my 4th try at this exam and I don't know what else to do but I will not give up. I just have to try another way to study for this thing. Any suggestions? Please keep me in your prayers. Congrats to all that have passed and good luck to all that have yet to take it.
Sorry to hear that you did not pass. I am proud that you are not giving up. I will add you to my prayer list and with this great forum and God's help you will make it. What did you use as your study material? I am not one to give study suggestions because I have failed it several time also. I was just asking. Did you use Suzanne plan?
Blaquediamondz,
I am sorry to hear that you did not pass. I also didn't pass this month on my 4th try as well. Just know that you are not alone in this process. I also applaude you for not giving up and trying to find a better way to study.
For me, I am going to do Suzanne's plan Strictly. In the past, I did email Suzanne for her plan, but didn't follow it the way that I should have. Maybe you can PM her and get the information on her plan. For now, however, just take some time off, cry if you need to, and get back on your journey to success. YOU WILL PASS THE NCLEX. God did not bring you this far to turn back now, so Press toward that mark.
Your November family is here to support you through it all.

Hey, you passed! I know it! I think I had the same test - a bunch of math questions, but it really was the same one over and over. I thought
to myself, am I getting this wrong over and over again? Why does it keep asking me the same dumb basic equation? I agonized forever about the zero before the decimal point - it was hammered into our brains in nursing school to make sure you didn't give somebody 2 ml instead of .2 - and I laughed at the irony worrying about something that seemed like such a big deal in school.
What kind of values did you memorize? I memorized the lab numbers itemized by ncsbn, basic blood test values, blood gases, etc. and figured I would recognize common therapeutic drug values. But I have NO IDEA why the computer "decides" to give you a particular set of questions. Other than wondering why I had so many math problems, I really can't remember much at all, other than I felt badly when I left. Then I realized almost everybody feels like this, unless, of course you know every single answer cold.
Thanks for the input!
