I was just accepted for the Fall 2006 class at NWCC. A friend of mine was accepted as well, and she had a 19 ACT, and a 60-something on the NET. I hope that helps.

Congratulations!!! I am so excited about being accepted - I bet you are too. Have you preregistered yet? If so, which class are you in - 8am or 10 am?

I am in the 10 am class too!! Small world! As far as the uniforms... I'm not sure. I live in Southaven, and there is a Life Uniform store over on Airways near Goodman Rd. Are you familiar with that area? But when I went in to preregister, Mrs. Scott told me not to buy anything until after school starts. I guess maybe they will go over everything with us. Have you been told anything different?

No, I haven't heard anything different. Another student in the program told me not to buy anything because she over heard Mrs. Scott telling another student to wait before she buy any uniforms because they might change them.

Then I'll definately wait until school starts before I buy anything. I think I am atleast going to get my CPR certification finished before we start so I have one less thing to do at that time. What campus are you attending now? I am at the DeSoto Center, and I am glad we only have a few weeks left! I am not taking any summer courses, so I'll be able to relax a little bit before we start.

I attend the Desoto Campus also. I am taking A P II this semester. I am going to the Red Cross in Memphis on tomorrow for CPR certification.

How are the A&P classes? I haven't taken either of those yet. I am in Microbiology this semester, and it has not been as hard as I was expecting it to be. I am taking A&P I in the fall.

Both A&P classes have been fairly easy. It's probably good that your are getting Micro out of the way. I have been told that a lot of nursing students fail the 3rd semester because of Micro.

I have Dr. Rinaldy for Micro, and you're right - I am glad to get it out of the way. Taking any classes this summer? I am taking the summer off because I am already short a few hours the last 2 semesters, and I'll have to fill some hours with other classes, so I don't want to take anything during the summer to put myself farther into the hole.
