Northwell Health RN Fellowships Oct 2021

Published

Hi!

Just wanted to create a thread on here for the October 2021 Northwell Health RN Fellowships so we can keep in touch with one another. I'm a soon to be graduate nurse and have an interest in ER/ICU! I just applied to both positions today. Looks like they opened on 8/17/21. Hope to chat with you guys soon!

Specializes in Psychooncology, Forensic Psych., Clinical Research.

Hi! Thanks for starting the thread! I applied to the ER Fellowship yesterday and have been stalking the site to see if they are opening more fellowship positions at other locations too so I can apply to those as well. Good luck to you! Hope we get some info soon ?

Specializes in Dialysis.

I applied a few days ago to the ER fellowship. But I also plan on applying to the PICU and critical care fellowships. I’m wishing us all the best of luck!

Did you guys submit a cover letter as well?

I didn’t submit a cover letter. But today I received a request for an on-demand interview.

OK that’s awesome! When did you submit application. I’m already working for Northwell so I’m hoping to get a call or email.

Hi, may I know which fellowship is that? I also got an on demand interview for the ER. But I am looking forward to the ICU and PICU fellowship. I am wondering if anybody hears anything from them.

Wow! Excited for those of you who got on demand interviews for the ER. When did you guys apply? And do you have previous experience? I graduate in 2 weeks from an ABSN program and worried I might not get selected since I don't have my official BSN yet. ?

I was wondering about this also- I just graduated from my ABSN program about 2 weeks ago but am waiting for my ATT so I can test and get my license. I did my program out of state and many of my classmates were hired prior to graduating/getting licensed at local hospitals but I have no idea if NY hospitals tend to prefer to hire new grads after they are licensed.

Good luck to those that received invitations for on-demand interviews! Also- what is an "on-demand" interview? I have literally never heard of this term LOL

Same here, seems like it's tough to get a job in NY! Not sure what NY prefers, hoping they'll at least consider us, LOL!

It was the ER fellowship. I haven't applied to the others yet, but I'll do that today.

I applied on 08/18. I do have previous experience. I have been working as a dialysis nurse for almost 6 months, graduated with my BSN in 2020, and have had my RN license for almost a year.
