Northwell Health Nurse Fellowship April 2021

Hello Everyone,

I haven't seen a thread for the 2021 Northwell nurse fellowships so I figured I might as well started. Has anyone been able to apply for any of their fellowships. I wanted to do the critical care fellowship but I have not been able to find the application on the website. Is anyone else having this issue ?? Please let me know.

Oh not sure. I know they posted Manhattan at one point. Maybe try and call the nurse education office and see if they have any information.

Hello! I am applying to one of the fellowships at Northern Westchester, but I’m having a lot of difficulty finding the name/department of the person I address the cover letter to. Does anyone happen to know?? I tried to call but I keep getting stuck at a dead end and told they can’t give me names.

I recently applied for the July 2021 PICU fellowship at Northwell, I was wondering if anyone has heard back? Also, I did not apply with a cover letter, should I have used a cover letter to apply? Let me know!

I've applied to several of their fellowships for July 2021 but have not heard a single word from them. I applied as early as end of February and some were posted for only a few days. Did anyone else hear back at all? Just curious to see what my chances are.

They have been reposting some of their applications for the July fellowships. Is Northwell usually an internal hiring process?

Hi! I applied to a couple fellowships for July and I was unfortunately denied from both last week. I received the same generic email I received when other positions I applied for through Northwell also denied me. I think If you haven’t heard anything that may be a good sign!

I applied to northern westchester right when they opened it. I didn’t see them in the list of northwell fellowships though (like through the golden ticket)

Can anybody who get in the fellowship give us some insight?

I have heard they choose internal applicants first and often fill all of the spots before they even get to external applicants. I didn't hear anything back for my April or July applications, but I got into St. Francis Hospital's emergency dept RN residency program and just started last week. It was honestly my first choice, so I'm content with how everything ultimately played out.

I did my periop fellowship interview June 2nd, waited 2 n half weeks for references and offer for the fellowship. I heard OR is the latest fellowship to hear back from. One of my friends heard back from the critical care fellowship last week.
