In the OR, its great. In the classroom, its boring and just powerpoint slides. Only good thing about classroom are the simulations which are kind of helpful. But its practically Nursing school 2.0 LOL The schedule starts with 3days didactics/2days in the OR. 8 weeks of didactics(classroom) with assignments from aorn that will all lead to a final exam at the 8th week and exams throughout the 8 weeks. After the 8th week, it becomes 5 8hr shifts in the OR where you circulate for the whole week and then transition into scrubbing. Back and forth b/w specialties. I think thats all the info I can remember right now LOL

Yeah definitely email them or call the recruiter. They only do the email that says "position has been filled" email. And that is definitely a late interview, was it with Ashley and Danielle?

Thank you! I had an OR externship and only 5months of RN Vaccinator. She was an internal of northwell and was an RN Vaccinator as well.

I did my periop fellowship interview June 2nd, waited 2 n half weeks for references and offer for the fellowship. I heard OR is the latest fellowship to hear back from. One of my friends heard back from the critical care fellowship last week.

Honestly same, called and emailed but no response. Still states under review since last week . I just wanna know if the positions are filled or not tbh.

I heard they are doing internals first then externals but I'm not sure if this or next week is externals. And the April fellowships can't be applied for anymore.
