Northwell Health Nurse Fellowship April 2021

Hello Everyone,

I haven't seen a thread for the 2021 Northwell nurse fellowships so I figured I might as well started. Has anyone been able to apply for any of their fellowships. I wanted to do the critical care fellowship but I have not been able to find the application on the website. Is anyone else having this issue ?? Please let me know.

I heard they are doing internals first then externals but I'm not sure if this or next week is externals. And the April fellowships can't be applied for anymore.

I haven't heard anything. I applied for both April and July. Under both applications it states "under consideration", so I don't know whats the deal. Anyone hear different?

Same for me. I haven’t heard anything back for either one. I did see that they reopened the app for the PICU.

Interviewed earlier this month for a critical care fellowship and got great feedback from the unit manager. Got a verbal offer for the position 2 weeks ago over the phone and I have yet to hear/receive anything else such as a formal offer letter. Getting a little nervous for I already put in my 4 weeks (wanted to give my manager an appropriate and respectable heads up) and the start is supposed to be April 12th. Btw I am an internal hire, 1 year + RN experience.

how are you able to check the status of the applications? I've been looking everywhere but I can't figure out how to do it.

I applied through the internal portal so it gives a list of applications with their status

Anyone know of Staten Island posting there applications for July 2021? I have not heard or seen anything

For July the applications were posting in Feb, they may open them back up like they did it in the past, but it’s never clear. I would just keep checking.

For Staten Island too? Because I’ve been checking since January and only have seen Long Island postings
