Northern Illinois University Admission to Fall 2014 Program

Hi everyone,

I am currenty applying to some nursig schools, and NIU is one of my top choices, I am very nervous and excited at the same time to see if I get accepted, wondering if there is anyone else out there applying too :) maybe we can help each other and get some info :)

I am a transfer applicant as well and I am yet to hear anything. They do say letters will be sent late April though.

I learned today at orientation that %40 of available spots (100f/100sp) are given to transfers and that transfer GPA's are much more competitive.

I just talked to an advisor today. She said they just finished reviewing transfer student applications last night. Letters will go out by the end of this week or early next week. We should know soon. Good luck everyone! I have my fingers crossed... :-)

Got accepted to the nursing program for fall! i honestly did not think i would make it to this one!!

Yeah i got it in the mail this morning. That means that everyones must be coming this weekend too!

Just got mine today also. I was accepted to start in the Spring. I'm disappointed I won't be starting this Fall and not sure why, but I'm happy to just be admitted. How did everyone else do?
