Good Afternoon,
I wanted to see if others have heard anything from Northeastern University (MA) regarding traditional direct entry program that starts September 2014. Has anyone heard about an interview? Just wanted to get a conversation going!
Look forward to hearing from others!
Had an interview earlier today for the Psych Specialty. I think it went really well. They said they would get back to me in less than two weeks. Waiting definitely sucks. I've got three years of psych experience in a healthcare setting. Plus almost two years inpatient setting so I'm hoping that will help. Is the rent in Boston high? or is best to live in student housing over there?
There is graduate housing but it's done by lottery. It looks like it will cost the same to live in your own apartment or in graduate housing. Plus with graduate housing that's only the academic year and since we attend classes in the summer it may be worth it to check out off campus housing that you can lease for a year
For sure. We have pretty high rent in Seattle so im sure ill be used to the prices. I was pretty shocked at how relaxed the interview was. It felt like they already made their decision before the interview started. Its like they wanted to make sure I was up for the program still. Did anyone else feel that way before their interview?
I called the financial aid office, and they said to submit the 2014-2015 FAFSA and then it will take them a few weeks to process and then they will be in touch. I was hoping to go in to meet with them this week or next, but it sounds like it makes more sense to wait on them processing the FAFSA. Hope that helps a little.

I live about 45 minutes outside of boston, so still trying to figure out if it will be better to get an apartment near the school or commute from home at least for the first couple semesters
