Northeastern Traditional Direct Entry

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to see if others have heard anything from Northeastern University (MA) regarding traditional direct entry program that starts September 2014. Has anyone heard about an interview? Just wanted to get a conversation going!

Hi! Do you know if anyone has received a rejection letter? Or if anyone is on a waitlist? I contacted the program and they said by the end of this week I should know my status but it seems like everyone who was accepted found out a couple weeks ago. I need to know whether to accept other schools offers or not so I hope they let me know soon! I had the interview over a month ago and the interviewer said I was a strong candidate and that she hopes to see me next year and that I would know in the next two weeks....I wonder if I'm on some sort of waitlist or something because they won't tell me about my status yet.... anyone else on the same boat?

Omg that sucks dokhtarshirazi! Hope you find out soon cause it does seem like acceptance letters have slowed down since I have not heard about anything on here. Have you checked online for status update? Cause that is how I found out I got in and didn't receive an actual letter until a couple of weeks later. Good luck either way!!

I have checked online, but nothing shows up... I was told I would receive an email and be able to see a link on the website aand then get a letter in the mail later... but nothing so far:(

My status was up today with a nice letter: They had "an unusually strong number of applicants this year" and put me on a "short waitlist". Anyone else out there? I'm a little stuck because another school needs their deposit by April 4th...

I haven't been able to find the group on Facebook -- I think we're cohort 13 (my friend started last fall and she's cohort 12). Would you mind updating it? I'd love to connect with some of you! I apparently haven't posted enough on here to allow for private messaging, so facebook will have to do!

Anyone going to campus on june 9th to meet with the clinical placement office, etc.?

Hi everyone,

I applied to Northeastern's DE program for this upcoming fall semester, and was hoping to gain some further information about it. If you don't mind sharing what your stats/background that would be very helpful (no idea exactly how high your GPA has to be, how much experience they are looking for, etc). Also, if you chose to attend the program, how are you liking it so far? Any information is helpful! Thanks so much!

Does anyone know what's the total cost for this program? I think for the undergrad/RN portion is about 64K but I couldn't get a clear answer for the grad portion.
