Northeastern Hybrid Direct Entry Nursing Spring 2014

Hi All,

I just received news that I have been accepted into Northeastern's Direct Entry online accelerated nursing program. I am wondering if anyone else is also in the spring 2014 cohort? Just thought I would get a thread going to communicate details such as living arrangements, loans, what to expect etc.

Yeah I know. I'll give them until tomorrow and call Friday if I don't hear. I hope one of us gets in at least lol... Saying some prayers for us!!

I also applied to the traditional track and got transferred over to the hybrid track. I got a call today asking me to send a transcript they were missing and proof of enrollment in a pre-req so that the committee could finish reviewing. I imagine that the people who got accepted to hybrid right away from traditional probably had all of the required materials needed by the hybrid program to make a decision since everyone who is waiting had to send additional stuff or speak with someone. Good luck! I hope we all get it :)

brielle4: Thank you for your post. I think you are right...The two of us are on the same boat. I needed to send them my transcripts because when I applied I was not done with all of them.

I wonder how long it will take to get back to the both of you. Nothing again today . I'm going to call my advisor tomorrow afternoon if I don't hear back tomorrow morning! Good luck with everything brielle4!

I have no clue how long it's gonna take for them to get back to me, since I haven't even sent the transcript yet. The transcript is not ready yet and I am getting anxious!!!

Good luck to you too Eburgmeier. I really love Northeastern's program and have heard hybrid decisions are made quick so the anticipation is killing me. Faith2014 that's a bummer about your transcript. My school just finished mine but still hasn't sent it... Everything seems to be moving slow. Hopefully soon we will all hear (and be accepted!)

Ah! I hate when that happens! Too much suspense! My transcripts is not ready yet, Monday is the last day of the time frame they give us. I tried calling the academic records' department and they don't pick up! If it is not ready by Monday, I will go to the school to yell at them!!!

Yeah tell them to get on that! So Your advisor told you that you have to have your transcripts in by Monday?

She told me to send them, but she didn't give me a time frame. However, when I ordered my transcripts from the school where I took my prereqs, they said it take 3-5 business days for the transcripts to be ready. Monday will be 5 business days. I want to send them asap, you know?
