Hi everyone! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone else who applied to the Northeastern Direct Entry Program for 2021!

Currently yes because for northeastern I’d be considered a dependent for aid so I wouldn’t be able to take out a plus loan but at BC since it’s a masters I could

Oh wow, that does make the decision tougher. There truly are cons to every nursing school. At least all the ones I am applying to!

I'm not sure about other specialties, unfortunately. I specifically asked about FNP and she said that they received many applications for it, so not to expect a decision until early March.

No problem! ?  I'm feeling a little stressed but trying not to let it get to me. I did receive an acceptance from UPenn's program, but am nervous about the price and moving to Philly so soon. I really appreciate Northeastern's co-op and the fact that it's in Boston so I wouldn't have to move. I ideally wanted to specialize in women's health which Northeastern doesn't have, but I know that I can pursue women's health as an FNP. I'm also still waiting to hear back from other programs so we'll see!

Hi Everyone,

I have not heard anything from this school. Nothing about an interview. I am unsure why that might be. Has anyone been notified about rejection? Should I contact them and ask about hearing back?

I'm in the same boat, I have not received any communication from them since late December or early January, which was just a general email saying they'd contact you for an interview if you fit what they were looking for. Since then nothing, so I am starting to worry especially since so many people have already been accepted or at least have had a scheduled interview.

I’m also a little confused especially because I contacted (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) a week ago and she said she’d have my decision on Monday or Tuesday. Nothing since.

I received my official email Wednesday. An email from northeastern did go to my spam account so I would also check there
