Hi,
Years ago I met with the director of this program and really loved it. Over the past 2+ years I've been doing the prereqs and volunteering at a hospital. It began to go to the backburner because I felt an accel BSN would be a better choice. Well now that I am ready to apply I can't get this program out of my head as being the top choice. SO I'm aiming on the GRE's for Sept to apply for their deadline. Just wanted to see if any students could provide some input on their experience there, and post graduation. I had a NP a few years ago at Harvard Vanguard in Copley who was a graduate and said such great things. I also can see that only Northeastern students get these intern positions at MGH (I'm sure there are internships open to all as well, but I see just Northeastern ones- I'm an employee at Partners). This makes me think they have an advantage... anywho, any feedback would be sooo greatly appreciated!!:redbeathe
Thanks!
thanks. I actually used to live in New England, but now am in PA, and there are no direct MSN programs here so I applied to Pitt's ABSN because I was fairly positive I would be competitive for it. Northeastern is the only other school I applied to and I love the program so I'm not only on the fence about the whole BSN vs. MSN, but also Boston vs. Pitt. all of which is moot until I hear from Northeastern though!! it's all just so stressful right now!
Aye yay yay. Let's hope the end of the week brings good news. Next week is my spring break, so that means relaxation/more time to think about it. I guess its safe to say us future nurses have a very Type-A personality, at least from all the people on the forums who are so motivated and vigilant! haha. :)

Should we be freaking out yet? I feel like we should.
