I can say life got rough there for a lil' while!

I just got my pt for my MCP this last Thursday. We had to do it on a Post Partum patient. I was in PP last. (L&D, then NBN, then shadowed in day of of PP.)

So......I haven't even started my MCP. :(

Good luck on test 2!

I'm working on lesson 3 of the virtual clinicals. I'm not sure what all information to write under admission forms.

I have the mom's info, emergency contact info (maternal grandmother), and the fact that the mother declines information about adv. directives.

Is that what we need to write, is that all we need for the "Admission Forms" section? :uhoh3:

I agree...I'd rather have an extra 12 hours at the hospital!

I wrote as much as I could but not all of it. Basically wrote what was important information and that is all. Because by the end of all of them you are going to get sick of writing!!!!!!!

Springbreak, I'm sick, we have virtual clinicals, major careplan , a toy project for pedi and the test coming up right after the week is up. What a bummer.....:angryfire

Oh, I'm sorry, mysterious_one!

I know virtual clinicals, major care plan and the test coming up is bad enough, but to not feel well on top of that! :o

I'm so confused on what to do! ...So many things that need to be completed at once!

My group is getting together Wednesday to go over our virtual clinical, and I finished my lesson this morning. We plan to give a summary over/teach what we learned....instead of just copying each other's work. I think it will benefit us in the long run.

I've been studying for most of the day for the exam by answering NCLEX-style questions, now I need to start on my major careplan.

I'm also going to set up an IV bag to start practicing regulating and counting the drops per minute. I have a hook on my bathroom wall. I guess I can keep it on that, and practice everytime I go in there. :lol2:

You are so good. Last semester I was happy to copy all the chapters and then forgot about them.

LOL! Well...our group figured that it may be useful to be aware of the information for upcoming tests. I hope it's like reading the chapter before lecture. :lol2: (Because we all know that's impossible for most people...including myself!)

me and a friend split those up , I did three and she did three. Hopefully all will stick for tests. Our instructor will put at least 2-3 growth and development questions in each test. :uhoh3:

I think I got the FLU !!!!

Yes, we had those, too. If you have the Hesi book you can use their G&D charts. Very good review for the tests.
