I had an 11.74 and was accepted at Montgomery. My sister had around a 11.0-11.1 (I think) and was placed on the district alternate list. She received a phone call from North Harris Nsg dept about 2 wks later asking if she would be interested. She had placed NH as her second choice. Come to find out she was tied for 3rd district alternate. These were Fall of '06 numbers. To get in you really need to have above 11 pts. Hope this helps.

I had an 11.17 (lol)and was accepted into North Harris. I did not do well on the Hesi exam.. obviously

Atrice, I think that is great that you and your sister are both in nursing school at the same time!

Congrats TxStar! So, you start this fall? It's cool because we compare the differences between the two colleges. I think you will enjoy NH....my sister does...although all of the programs are tough. Good luck and enjoy your summer vacation.:balloons: :)

I know somebody who recently received an acceptance letter from NHC with a little shy less of an 11. She isn't asking how, or why but is ecstatic that she is in.

This is the reason why I did not apply for fall and am working towards my bsn requirements.
