  1. You are so right, wow
  2. I have had both rewarding and exhausting days, but today I almost quit. I had 6 patients, 4 were totals, DM, and the same were having acute issues that not been address for days. One pt left AMA today due the discharge process taking so long. I was told in the future by management when med profile is not done correctly, for me to correct myself without call a doctor for clafication because thats common sense. I was blow away about what I was being told. I guess if orders needed to be claifiy, I need to use common sense because apparently I don't have any, and correct orders without consulting a physician.
  3. I decided to improve my resume today in hopes of landing a decent job. I have spent 4 hrs on it and still is not finish. Trying to get the best resume thru tips on this website and a few others. The cost of it been done by pro is not in my budget. I swear I feel like screaming everytime someone sds "They all always need nurses, I just can't believe you haven't found a job yet" :angryfire just spend one day in my shoes
  4. I'm in houston, texas and unforunated I was offer one CNA to work with me. I was looking forward to starting this week. Someone will give me a chance without scarying me to death..lol. Wish everyone the best of luck. I am also the product of this horrible economy.
  5. Here is my story: Want a job in the hospital after 50 million application no success. Decided to try my luck with LTC. I got a job offer. Here comes the sad part: They wanted to hire me in the SNF hall (great experience I thought) but they wanted me to care for 26 patients ranging from fresh hip replacements to feeding tubes, you name it (all by myself) no take back with 1 CNA and 1 MA that can only pass po meds. The pay was 21/hr...I wanted the job and need a job, but under thoses conditions I sd no...God will bless me with something better...I know he will. Hate to turn a job in this economy Have two interviews in two LTC, so we shall see (hopefully not 26 pts)
  6. First I wanted to say God has been good to me and thru prayer all things are possible. Now having said that yes the trick works. To ease anxiety for anyone out there....I did the trick two days ago (see previous posting) and today I look on the board and my name was there. It's final I'm an R.N. Now someone of you are wondering but what if this time its different and the trick doesn't work for me. PLEASE BELIEVE ME THE TRICK WORKS AND DON'T DENY THE RESULTS. I want to wish all thoses who are/were in my shoes today, yesterday, last week, etc. GOOD LUCK and BELIEVE IN YOUR SELF....YOU CAN DO THIS !!!!!:)
  7. I took the NCLEX-RN exam yesterday and it shut off at 75 questions. I felt sick to my stomach when leaving the testing center. On the hand I glad its over for now anyway. I look for both tricks: 1st was told on allnurse if the screen turn grey then blue (passed) stays grey (failed). My screen was grey then blue....2nd trick was the pearsonvue. I tried it when I got home 1 1/2 hours after the exam (delivery sucessful) ( its said contact the board, wasn't allow to the cc page). Crossing my fingers and really hope thru this all it come true that I pass. Quick Results is 48 hours and I still have one more day to go...I'm dying here
