Hi Guys,
I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

Hi all, do you think it's fine to give them a call to follow up on the status of my application? I was put in the queue on June 13.
yes, you may call them to ask for any feedback about your application. In that way they will think that you're in a hurry to get your DL.what i did the past 2 weeks was i called aNd emailed them once a week for some concerns, such as my expiring police clearance and if there was any document that I need to resubmit. I waited until last sunday, my 33rd day of waiting, and i emailed them asking for any feedback about my application. They did not reply to my mail, but, i received my DL yesterday.
Hi Nurses,
I am helping a nurse fill in the form for the NMC - what email should she put down on the form for the PRC?
Please note when you are submitting documents - the upload will not take heavy documents - so a pdf was rejected at 31 m b - but was reduced in size to 3.1 m b and went through.
When you are waiting for your decision from the NMC - and they give a number of days - these are working days ie Monday to Friday and sometimes there is a bank holiday a non working day - you can look up on google UK Bank holidays.
We do need nurses in the UK.
It's also a good idea that you look at the Royal College of Nursing website a good source of information and if you want to join it's only ten pounds as a student.
You can also read the Nursing Standard
