2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

Thanks for sharing that. My agency advised me that they're just waiting for my COS to be assigned then after that a copy will be sent to me so that I can use it for my VISA application. Up until now there has been no changes on my NMC portal.

Just to clarify though, I will be put on queue once NMC sends me an email and not once they receive the forms via mail? Because when I tracked it via DHL, the forms were received already last 6th of April.

Hello. In my case, they received my all my documents on February 19. I sent an email after 1-2 weeks for a follow-up. I inquired if I could get the email address of my assessor, however, they replied that no assessor has been assigned to me yet, only that my application is ready for assessment. I received my DL on March 30. I just waited after sending my first inquiry.

not sure of this though, but I've been reading that you'll be put on queue once all docs that you've sent at NMC are uploaded on your portal. I've also asked the NMC when did my queue start.

Has anyone gone through the same situation like me??after 1 n half months I was asked to submit another reference form and I submitted after 1 week..they said I was taken out of assessment and will put in the queue again ..it will take again 30-60 working days as they will start again from beginning..it's so frustrating..

I was at your boat before. It was so frustrating to start again. They also told me the same thing but I got a feedback about 1-2 weeks after resubmitting. I believe that after getting a feedback from them, days will be faster for reassessment.

Hello,im still in the proses of completing the documents, anyone here can give me an example of explaination letter that SCFHS not able to verify the Registration Verification Authority form?

This is my email [email protected].

Thank you

Hello anyone,

Need help!

Already started registering with NMC-UK

Was put on the assessment queue since 28/02/18

Received an email from NMC/assessor on 10/04/18 concerning two barcoded documents i was supposed to send my mail

Sent them via DHL on 12/04/18

Today being 23/04/18, my application have been received and not reflecting on my application portal

Contacted NMC 19/04/18 and i was informed the process for received documents to reflect in the application takes 10-15 days, well still waiting.

However,my case is a little different and i need to clarify my doubt on something,

i applied with NMC without IELTS, because it seems i fall within the category where IELTS requirement is waived (thus 2years from the time of completion of my BSc to the time of application with the NMC)

My agent whom i dnt know about(cos i have a laison who mediates btn my unknown agent and i) request i be offered a decision letter before i could be bound to a trust

But with about 90% of the post i have read on this platform, my case seems to be entirely different(because most of you tend to be bound to a trust before your decision letter is released from NMC).

So I would like to ask, is it because i dnt have an IELTS or there is something wrong with agency/laison?

A quick response will be gladly appreciated.

Thank you.

If sending the response through this page would be a problem for any responder,

could please send it via [email protected]

Thank you.

I don't think your English rest should be a problem if it is exempted or NMC is not asking you since u r still within the 2 years period. I think it has to do with your agent which agency are you going through. Make sure they are recognize. I am waiting for my decision letter as well but my agency already bound me with a trust a while ago.

As per NMC decision letter you should hear from them soon since you already waited for a while.

Thank you FARHANATARZI. I really appreciate the timely feedback.

I think i need to make detailed inquiries concerning my liaison and agency now before i proceed

Thanks for the reassurance.

No problem good luck!

Yes because once u receive the DL letter your agency should apply for your Visa. It will be a waste of time, if the agent starts work after your DL letter. As the hospitals will need to interview you and offer you a job. It is the hospital which u will be bound to sponsor you not the agency.

By the way Feb 28 was when u submitted your application to NMC, or when they loaded all the documents and put it for assessment?
