I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

CoS is the certificate of sponsorship needed when you apply for a tier 2 visa. It is provided by your employer who will be sponsoring you to stay in the UK
When do we start having the TB Testing and the medical? Is it after receiving the DL or after the CoS has been assigned?

It's safer after receiving your CoS, the TB test is good for 3 months or 6 months depending on your assessment and the medical is 3 valid for 3 months as well.

UKTB is valid for 6 months. Some agencies advise applicants to proceed with TB testing while waiting for DL in the instance where one is required to undergo sputum test where results take 7-9 weeks to be released.

The 6 months validity is according to IOM, they did not tell me about the 3 months when I recently inquired. I haven't done it yet as well because I am also deciding whether I should wait til I get the DL í ½í¹„
